Prescott Courier: County Supes Split over Free Power Line Policy

“The Arizona Corporation Commission two years ago quietly ended a long-standing power policy - Arizona Public Service’s free 1,000-foot power line extension to homes.

“Even though this has been in place for two years, it is just now affecting the market,” Mike Wyllie, of Arizonans For Fair Power Policy said Monday.

On Monday, the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors voted to write a letter to the corporation commission asking it to rescind the policy. ”
